Orgasm by Head Machine features Ken Hensley & Lee Kerslake before they became members of Uriah Heep. More details at this page.
All musicians were at the time ex-members of The Gods and this was a project by producer David Paramor who produced The Gods albums. Recordings were done just weeks before Hensley joined Heep.
This will be the first legitimate CD release of this album. All the previous CD's are pirates and are of worse sound quality.
The album can be pre-ordered from Cherry Red Records website.
Ken Hensley has informed that he has two new studio albums recorded. The first one is titled My Book Of Answers and it is based on poems written by Russin poet Vladimir Emelin. It will be released in January 2021 and features nine new tracks and a re-recording of Uriah Heep song The Hanging Tree. The single & video 'Stand (Chase The Beast Away)' will be released later in 2020. There will be videos from all the other songs as well.
There's also another new album titled A Little Closer that was recorded already in 2019 but this won't likely be released until 2021.
Hensley has also finished working with a musical and there has been talk about a new album with Live Fire band but there's no more information on these projects yet.
Lee Kerslake first solo abum titled Eleventeen has been a long time in making. Now it looks like there's a release planned sometime in 2020 but there's no release date yet or any other additional information. There is also a documentary film about his career planned titled Not On The Heep but there's no date for that either.
The complete Uriah Heep album back catalogue originally released on Bronze Records from 1970 to 1983 was re-released in 2015 on vinyl and during 2016 & 2017 they were all originally planned to be re-released also as double CD's with original LP on CD 1 and bonus tracks on CD 2. The campaign started in September 2016 with the new 2-disc anthology Your Turn To Remember: The Definitive Anthology 1970-1990 and the classic debut Very 'Eavy ... Very 'Umble (1970). The second album Salisbury (1971) followed in October. The next three albums Look At Yourself (1971), Demons And Wizards & The Magician's Birthday (both 1972) were released in March 2017. At the moment there is no information when and if the series will be continued. Additional information, track listings etc. on all these new releases you'll find at this page.
Solo album by Uriah Heep ex-bass guitarist Trevor Bolder who died of cancer in 2013 has been a long time in the making. The first single "Which Way Will The Wind Blow" (originally on Uriah Heep album Different World v. 1991) was released digitally already in March 2017. The album (featuring several guest appearances, e.g Mick Box, Lee Kerslake, Def Leppard vocalist Joe Elliott and Laurie Wisefield of Wishbone Ash) was supposed to follow soon but there hasn't been any news for years on release date or other things. A website trevorboldersoloalbum.wordpress.com was created already in 2015 but it hasn't really been updated after that.Facebook page facebook.com/trevorboldersoloalbum was also but that doesn't exist anymore.
