(Russell/Scott, The Hollies)
These are from the sessions that David Byron did for Avenue Records from late 60's to early 70's before and during his time with Uriah Heep. He sung these cover versions of Top 10 hits for money and he quit when Heep gained success with Look At Yourself. The writers and original performers of songs are in brackets. These were released on EP's which are extremely rare today. Also another then uknown fellow called Reginald Dwight (later known as Elton John) participated in these same sessions. Interestingly track 7 'It's All In The Game' sung by Byron was by mistake included on a cd compiled from songs from these same sessions with Elton on lead vocals.

(Schroeder)
14. BACK IN THE U.S.S.R.

Schröder/King)
16. WITCHI TAI TO
(Pepper/Schroeder)
These are taken from John Shröder's album Witchi Tai To that was released in 1971. This was also purely a money-making project and apparently no one else in the band know about this. It propably took place after the recording of Salisbury at the same when Ken Hensley was involved with the album Weed.

(Byron/Boone)
18. ALL IN YOUR MIND
