KEN HENSLEY & FIVE FIFTEEN AT TAVASTIA Ken Hensley will be back in Finland after two years to perform at The Storyteller's Night at Tavastia Club 4th August as part of Mika Järvisen Summerbclub. To support Ken is the Finnish legendary reformed band Five Fifteen. Tickets to the concert cost 23 EUR in advance and are available at Tiketti.
NEW LOOK AT WEBSITE A new reorganized and redesigned webite has now been launched. Today 9th of June is the 70th birthday of Mick Box and also the birthday of the late Trevor Bolder (1950-2013) so what would be a better day than this! Please have a look through the site and you'll notice there's lots of familiar stuf but also some interesting new stuff. There's a new guestbook also so please feel free to leave a note and let me know what you think of the site. If you notice some errors, links not working etc. please let me know, this is still work in progress.
The band had to cancel some shows in February because vocalist Bernie Shaw had to go thorugh an operation. After recovering he took part in Rock Meets Classics tour together with Mick Box March-April. After that the first shows of 2017 were played in Ukraine. Currently they are on a short break and touring will commence 25th June. During Summer Heep will perform mostly at European Summer festivals. There have been rumours that the band is writing new songs and will be going to studio soon to record a new album but there are no official news yet. However, keyboard player Phil Lanzon has been recording his first solo album, there's no release date yet confirmed. Ken Hensley is involved with several projects: writing a stage musical, producing other artists etc. He will also by as special guest on Status Quo's acoustic tour of Europe in November-December. John Lawton is currenly recording a new album with reformed Lucifer's Friend and playing some festivals in Europe. Trevor Bolder's posthumous solo album should also be released soon, the single Which Way Will The Wind Blow was released in March but no news yet on the album release. FEBRUARY GIGS CANCELLED Uriah Heep has been forced to cancel upcoming concerts in February because vocalist Bernie Shaw will have to go trough a medical operation. The next gigs after the break will happen in April.
LOOK AT YOURSELF, DEMONS & WIZARDS & THE MAGICIAN'S BIRTHDAY 2-CD EXPANDED EDITION RELEASED IN MARCH The next in Re-release campaign by BMG will be the third, fourth & fifth studio albums Look At Yourself (1971) Demons And Wizards (1972) & The Magician's Birthday (1972) all released 31st March. Lee Kerslake will host a very special charity concert at 100 Club in London 18th September in aid of Nightingale Cancer Support Group. URIAH HEEP REMASTERED CD'S FROM BMG/Sanctuary The complete Uriah Heep back catalogue originally released on Bronze Records 1970-1983 was re-released on vinyl in 2015 and now they will be re-released on CD. These will all be double CD editions with original LP on CD1 and bonus tracks on CD2. The campaign starts in September 2016 with the new 2-disc anthology Your Turn To Remember: The Definitive Anthology 1970-1990 and the classic debut Very 'Eavy ... Very 'Umble and continues untill 2017. Both of these will be released on 16th September and they are already available for preordering at Pledge Music / Additional information, track listings etc. you'll find at this page.
DEEP PURPLE AND URIAH HEEP IN JUNE
Timetables for Helsinki and Oulu concerts hace been announced. The support act will be Peer Günt and additionally in Oulu Temple Balls. Preliminary timetables: ROCKIN' HELLSINKI 10.6. ROCK THE NORTH 11.6. NOTE! In Helsinki Uriah Heep will perform before Deep Purple but in Oulu will be the last band on stage. Tickets in advance from Menolippu: Helsinki 10.6. - Oulu 11.6. and Tiketti: Helsinki 10.6. - Oulu 11.6. Besides normal tickets also Priority tickets and VIP packages are available. DEEP PURPLE AND URIAH HEEP IN FINLAND IN JUNE 2016 Bands will be performing together in Helsinki 10th June and in Oulu 11th June. Here press release at Menolippu website. Tickets are already for sale for members of Menoklubi at this page and general ticket sales will begin on Saturday 24th October in Menolippu, Lippupalvelu & Tiketti. Normal tickets cost 69,50 EUR and there are also Priority and VIP tickets available.

URIAH HEEP IN MOSCOW WITH KEN HENSLEY AND LEE KERSLAKE Uriah Heep concert at Crocus City Hall in Moscow on 15th October will be a special reunion concert with ex-members Ken Hensley and Lee Kerslake joining the band on stage for this one night only. This is the first time since 2001 that Hensley is playing together with his former band and for Kerslake this will be the first time with Heep since his departure from the band in 2007. BERNIE SHAW AT LAZY BONEZ ALBUM Uriah Heep vocalist Bernie Shaw will be guestin on Finnish group Lazy Bonezalbumilla titled Alive that will be released in September. He is dueting with vocalist Tommi Salmelainen on track called Devil's Dice. Record can be preordered e.g. from Record Shop X.

EASY LIVIN' IN HELSINKI IS OVER The anniversary concert at Tavastia Club 8th May was a success. Over 600 fans witnessed a very special performance of ex-Heep members Ken Hensley, Lee Kerslake and Paul Newton as well as rocked with The Sensational Mika Järvinen Band and tribute bands The Innocent Victims and Knights Of The Black Ox. Over 4 hours of music, 23 musicians on stage and 40 songs. Big thanks to all who bought the tickets and helped to spread the word! KEN HENSLEY SOLO SHOW IN SEINÄJOKI After Easy Livin' In Helsinki event Ken Hensley will be performing an acoustic show in Seinäjoki at Sokos Hotel Lakeus Saturday 9th May. EASY LIVIN' IN HELSINKI - ANNIVERSARY CONCERT AT TAVASTIA CLUB 8TH MAY In 2015 we will celebrate 10 years of the Finnish Uriah Heep association and official fan club. It is also 20 years since the start of unofficial fan activity in Finlans so 2015 will be both 10th and 10th anniversary for us. To celebrate that there will be a concert held at Tavastia Club in Helsinki on 8th May under the title "Easy Livin' In Helsinki". Ken Hensley - the leader of Uriah Heep in the early 1970's will be performing at the event together with The Sensational Mika Järvinen Band, other bands include Finnish tribute bands The Innocent Victims ja Knights Of The Black Ox. The special guests at the event include ex-Uriah Heep members Paul Newton and Lee Kerslake as well as Ken Hensley's brother Trevor who was treated at Helsinki University Central Hospital two years ago after having a heart attack in Helsinki. URIAH HEEP TO FINLAND AGAIN IN APRIL Uriah Heep will be returning to Finland again in April 2015 for three shows. Savonlinna concert on 16th April has already been announced and tickets are for sale at Menolippu.
THE YARDBIRDS REPLACES NAZARETH AT CONCERTS! Nazareth has been forced to cancel their appearance with Uriah Heep in Jyväskylä & Rovaniemi due to the vocalist getting sick. The Yardbirds will be replacing them.
URIAH HEEP AND NAZARETH IN FINLAND IN DECEMBER! Uriah Heep and Nazareth will play two shows in Finland in December. Jyväskylä Paviljonki 12th Dec. and Rovaniemi Lappi Areena 13th Dec. TREVOR HENSLEY AND PHIL BAKER IN FINLAND IN OCTOBER Trevor Hensley and Phil Baker who have become known for Finnish Heep fans after performing at the fanclub meeting in 2013 as well as other events organized by us will pay two shows together in Finland in Joensuu 24th and Helsinki 25th of October. ONE MINUTE SINGLE RELEASED, OUTSIDER ALBUM INFO PAGE The song One Minute from the forthcoming album has been released as digital single. The single includes both full album version and radio edit. It is available also as special German language version titled Eine Minute. The single can be downloaded for example from iTunes or Amazon. It is also available streamed at Spotify, Deeze etc. More details of the new album have also been announced. NEW ALBUM "OUTSIDER" RELEASED IN JUNE! Frontiers Records has confirmed that Uriah Heep's new album Outsider will be released on Frontiers Records on 6th June in mainland Europe, 9th June in The UK and 10th June in North America. Promo video of the song One Minute filmed at the Koko London show will be out prior to the album release. It can already be pre-ordered from Amazon. Stay tuned fore more news.

The band is recording a live video at Koko in London on 4th of March which will be released either late 2014 or early 2015. This will be the first ever live concert to feature new songs from the forthcoming album. Additional information on the concert at this page.
